Come and stay in the peace and tranquility of rural Motueka, close enough to all three of the local National Parks, Kahurangi, Abel Tasman and Nelson Lakes, to make Treedimensions Organic Farmstay the ideal restover for your stay at the top of New Zealand's South Island.
Relax and soak up the ambience of this quiet organic farm; there are over 700 varieties of fruit growing all around you.
Treedimensions Organic Farm has two secluded, well appointed, self-contained suites, in a purpose built timber cottage, that is ideal for those of you seeking a quiet self-catering break away from it all.
The cottages feature double accommodation with your own private WC and shower. Kitchen facilities are there for that evening at home. A breakfast basket is optional and organic produce is available locally. Depending on the season, you might be able to step outside and pick your own breakfast.
Spacious and private living with super king size beds, cotton bedding and down duvets.
The suites have been designed to comfortably accommodate two adults sharing. The sofa folds out to a double bed and would be suitable for a third adult or perhaps two small children.
Your own ensuite bathrooms include; shower, WC, handbasin, and heated towel-rail. Towels supplied.
Kitchen for self-catering.
For self-catering the accommodation is self-contained. The kitchens are equipped with gas hob, electric oven, kettle, fridge, sink, sufficient crockery and cutlery.
Organic wines are available from our cellar.
Relax after a good day's tramping.
Each suite has its own ranch slider door overlooking the orchard and the hills to the east.
Leave the door ajar in the evening to fall asleep to the sound of the stream that runs through the property.
Both suites have a TV, CD player and radio.
Well equipped for self-catering.
A breakfast basket of organic produce is available at a nominal charge. Eat in, outside on the deck or take a picnic into the orchard or down to the stream.
Please book in advance so we have time to gather the fresh produce.
Our small farm is home to some cows, ducks and chickens.
We have a wholesome and healthy environment so if you love the outdoors and are tired of the usual tourist activities then help out around the farm, dangle your toes in our stream or simply sit back, sample some local organic wine and let the world go by.
Depending on the season you might be able to sample some of our delicious fruit as you stroll around our edible landscape.
Tui drinking nectar One of our Tuis feeding on nectar. The Tui has an iridescent green/blue sheen, a white wattle and a very characteristic song.
Some of the birds you might see include: Morepork, Welcome Swallow, Grey Warbler, Silvereye, Song Thrush, Blackbird, New Zealand Pipit, Goldfinch, House Sparrow, Chaffinch, Tui, Bellbird, New Zealand Woodpigeon, California Quail, Shining Cuckoo, Long-tailed Cuckoo, New Zealand Robin, Skylark, Kingfisher, Harrier Hawk, Pukeko, Pheasant, Fantail, Kea, Shag and the New Zealand Falcon.
Hike, or tramp as it's known locally, and then rest and recharge your batteries in our rural comfort. No traffic noise, just the sound of fruit growing.
Permaculture and biodynamics in practice.
You can stargaze without the pollution of city lights and rise with New Zealand's dawn chorus. Bird life is abundant with the song of the Tui being so distinctive that you'll always remember your stay at Treedimensions.
Please note that the cottage is smoke free.
