Fresh Fruit without Compromise

Welcome to our Fresh Fruit Sales section:

Hello -

We are now looking at the impending harvest of still hundreds of varieties of fruit. Once the season kicks off you will find listed below (Picking this week) which of these varieties we can offer for sale. The fruit-set is far below our expectations this season. We probably had just not enough bees working during part of the flowering period. Had to take our bees through a really rough patch for the last two years!

Each year is different for us. But we are quite well buffered. At this point we still have (way too many)165 apple varieties growing here. Our search for disease resistance had us try 225 varieties at the peak some years ago.

We are focusing on winning varieties and individual trees now, pulling out poor performers and planting more winners. Our nursery is once again in gear to supply our planting programme. Restructuring!

A substantial volume and range of fruit is processed right here into dried fruit snacks and juices. These are available directly from here or can be found in many outlets throughout the country.

Taking into account our fairly steady base of fresh fruit customers and any expected new business we should have enough to meet requirements. If you are interested get in touch any time. We start with the main harvest mid February. We need enough volume and variety to make our box scheme work.

Oh! By the way we have raised some prices a little.
